Resume Reality Check

  • Blueprint Technologies 350 106th Avenue Northeast Bellevue, WA, 98004 United States (map)

Did you know that 70 percent of resumes submitted today will never be viewed by human eyes?

If you want to be sure yours is not one of them, we invite you to join us for our upcoming ‘Resume Reality Check’ to get an insider’s perspective on what you should—and should never —put on your resume in today’s job market.

Times Have Changed.
The process of finding work has changed monumentally in the last decade, with an unprecedented shift taking place over the last two years. The advent and nearly universal use of digital Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) has fundamentally altered how organizations of all sizes find and hire talent.

So, how do you get noticed in this ever-evolving landscape?

No matter where you are on your career path, you need a strong, customizable and modern resume to respond to new opportunities at any given moment. LinkedIn is an essential and extremely powerful tool that should work seamlessly with your resume. Are you optimizing both to paint a cohesive and thorough picture of your skills, background and potential? Join us on May 12th and find out.

Topics include:

  • What do the strongest resumes have in common?
  • Where does LinkedIn fit in?
  • How do you explain a gap in employment?
  • How can you position yourself for an entirely new career direction?
  • Who ultimately gets hired and why?

Over the years, Blueprint’s hiring managers have reviewed thousands of resumes and LinkedIn profiles. They will share their expertise on how these two tools should work together to give you maximum exposure to employers.

Cost: $75 (General Public) / $50 (The Swing Shift/ReBoot Seattle Alumni)

Please submit your current resume and LinkedIn profile by April 30th so that our hiring experts can review them in advance of the workshop. Please also bring a editable copy of each, as you will be applying what you learn in the session.

Later Event: June 5
Ready. Set. Negotiate.
